NEED 3 MEN FOR GUYS ON ICE An Ice Fishing Musical Comedy
MARVIN and LLOYD are working class Guys from northern Wisconsin. They may seem a little slow on the uptake, but there is a native intelligence and wry good humor that suggests active thought life. There is a casual pace to life in Door County, especially in the winter. No locals are in a hurry to get anywhere. Snow days and sick days are common. Beer drinking can start very early in the day. Marvin and Lloyd should be close in age, anywhere from 30 to 55. Nothing slick, no expensive haircuts. Many guys up here are large. Large is interesting but not essential.
ERNIE is the kind of guy who always says the wrong thing, maybe on purpose, maybe not. In other cultures he would be a coyote or trickster. Up here he’s just a pain in the ass.
